To promote their new whiskey blend, Whyte & Mackay installed a bar at the top of the Titan Crane in Clydebank, Scotland. The winch house at the top was converted into a pub and a massive banner of a whiskey bottle was installed on the outside.

It was only open on 2-6 June 2014 to a lucky few competition winners and journalists who were taken to the top to enjoy a dram.

The banner was installed by a team of specialists from the Glasgow Climbing Centre, assisted by a truck mounted access platform from Outreach Access.

Cameras were set-up around the crane and in the winch house to capture the installation of the bar and banner. These timelapse images were then used to create the video.

Completed in 1907 The Titan Crane was re-opened as a visitor attraction in 2007 and regularly hosts bungee jumps and abseils for parties or for charity events. At 150feet tall you get an amazing view from the top.
