As part of a wider piece of work between many of Scotland’s museums, this animation was commissioned by The Hunterian in Glasgow. The museums were exploring topics such as white supremacy, white privilege and the legacy of colonialism as they wanted to do a better job of properly representing different cultures within the museums and exhibitions.
This video was shown on a large screen as part of an exhibition on the subject. As there could be no audio playing in the museum all of the communication of the message needed to be achieved using on-screen graphics and text.
